 This package consists of a 12ac 40va plugin power transformer that connects and powers a
12 vdc 1 amp power supply with battery charging circuit and a 12v Lead Acid Battery
for battery backup so you get a 12 vdc 1 amp output that's also backed up.
This small package is great for backing up a single door access system consisting
a digital keypad and electric strike or magnetic lock for a few hours if the main power is lost.
Length of back up time depends on which electric strike or magnetic lock used and how often
door will be accessed but usually at least 2 hours and often much more.
Note: use only with a dc locking system. Can not be used with an ac electric strike only a dc electric strike.
