 These are Schlage or Cal Royal locks that have been modified by Marry. They are similar to the electrified mortise lock except they can fit in a 2 1/8 hole so it will easily replace
most key in the knob style entry locks. Hook it up to an Digital keypad system
like the Securitron or Locknetics
and your done and you can use it as a regular key lock
or electronically through the keypad. No electric strike
or other equipment is needed. The reason this item's days
are numbered is because the Trilogy lock and other type of stand alone electronic locks that have a built in keypad, has just about made this lock obsolete. The Trilogy will do what these locks
do and much much more but the stand alone keypad locks are not that much more
expensive. But there are also a couple reasons why someone
would choose these over a Trilogy: they are easier to install.
They will install in the existing 2 1/8" hole. They are less
complicated locks. There's less that can break.

open on the inside.

•Handing is easy to reverse

Fail safe (needs electricity to lock)
Fail secure (needs electricity to unlock)
