This is a software and cable and auxiliary fingerprint reader pack used to quickly enroll many users for the 1700 model. In addition, if you are using more than one of these locks and all are to be programmed the same, you are able to enroll all users into one lock, save the file and then use that file as a template and download this info to all your other locks. A big time saver.
