This new keyless electronic Infrared Remote control lock is unique for several reasons. Since it can be set as either storeroom or passage function it can be viewed as two different locks.
Set as a passage function will work this way; the bottom lever latch will only latch the door closed and not lock it. The top deadbolt and bottom spring latch will be locked from either side by pulling up on the lever handle all the way up.
Or set as a storeroom function will work like this; Door closes and automatically locks from the outside by bottom latch. Free to unlock from the inside by turning lever. Click on the remote control from outside to unlock both deadbolt and spring latch at same time. Click on remote control and lift lever handle up to lock both deadbolt and spring latch at same time after the door is closed from outside. A great feature.

Microchip hopping code is used, so there is no way to copy the controller.
