Note that all mortise type cylinders will work only in mortise locks. Mortise cyinders are threaded and
screw into the lock and are then held in place by one set screw. Rim cylinders are not threaded and
work mostly with rim type locks. Rim cylinders do not screw in and are held in place by two small screws
or bolts from the back.
