The Mas-Hamilton Power-lever lock is a very special lock. It's built like a battleship!
You just won't find a heavier duty or better built lock. The black case model won't even scratch.
It has a built in generator and is an extremely heavy duty model. It's a new type of lock
that works like stand alone battery operated lock
but needs no battery It will self generate voltage to activate itself
By pushing down on the
powerlever enough current is created to open the lock. No batteries, no wiring, no maintenance!
These locks come with a standard keyed cylinder for override.
Please note:When the door closes the lock will
lock. The inside knob or lever is always free to turn and open. The lock can easily be converted to
a passage function at any time by just pressing a few numbers. This means that when in the passage mode
the lock will not lock automatically.
Same as the 1550 but with these added features:

•up to 23,000 date/time stamped audit events
•Time zone/access schedule capability

External Device Contact:
PowerLever Door Lock models 4550 & 455x include a dry contact, with removable wiring harness that can be used to activate an external device (ie:electromagnetic lock, electronic strike, CCTV, video recorder etc.). When a valid combination is entered, the contact is closed, actuating the external device. Max voltage level of 20 volts DC or power dissipation of 0.5 watts.
Environmental Performance:
The lock may be used in both indoor and outdoor applications. Outdoor applications require use of a PowerLever Pro-Gasket™ Kit for maximum performance.
Note: For outdoor applications where the lock is unprotected from freezing rain or rain followed by freezing temperatures, a Pro-Guard™ Weather shield must be installed over the lock to prevent ice from forming between the keybuttons and the outside cover.
This lock will perform satisfactorily in the following environmental conditions:
Temperature: -13 degrees F (-25 degrees C) to +151 degrees F (+66 degrees C)
Humidity: 24 hour exposure at 85%, +86 degrees F (+30 degrees C); as defined in UL 2058, Sec. 23
Operational Salt Spray: 96 hour exposure; as defined in UL 437, Sec. 12
Rain: 1-hour exposure; as defined in UL 2058, Sec. 35
Dust: 1-hour exposure; as defined in UL 2058, Sec. 36 Lock Case
Resists Radar Emissions: Up to 100 volts/meter
