  Time And Attendance Reporting
 Time and attendance explained:
Better than a traditional time clock.

This system uses very secure, small proximity cards or fobs and readers.
The way the reporting structure works is that the end user has the choice to either read time in and out through "ALL" doors or read time in and out through only "IN & OUT" doors. Inside the software you can designate a door IN or OUT when you define the door name and controller ID number to set up the system, or you can choose "unspecified". In the reporting structure found in the "Files/Reports" menu item inside the Administrator module, you choose "Attendance" and you can then click on seeing the report through "ALL" doors or "IN/OUT" doors. You can also choose the time period you want the report to cover, and view either a specific employee, group of employees, or all employees.
These are the options or choices you have to view the report. If you click on "ALL" doors, the report calculates the first time of the day that it saw an employee(s) and the last time that day. In the case of the "IN/OUT" doors, it only looks at those readers designated IN and OUT. The only caveat of the report is that during "graveyard" shifts that go into the next day, the employee must read their tag into a designated reader or any reader after midnight to start calculating the time for the next calendar day.
