9600 Series cabinet locks use the same proven combination system as our other pushbutton access controls and are
specifically designed for cabinet doors, desk drawers, and similar applications. Cabinet locks can be installed in a horizontal or
vertical position and are ideal for use in many locations: medicine chests, liquor cabinets, gun boxes, courier pick-up boxes,
home entertainment units, cleaning supply cabinets, tool chests, private files, display cases, supply cabinets, audio-visual
cabinets, and petty cash drawers.
Standard cabinet locks for wood or sheet metal applications are equipped with a deadbolt that must be manually relocked. An
end-throw spring latch model with automatic relock is also available for wood and metal applications. See below to order either.

All metal; cast face plate
Door Thickness:
For wood applications & C9600 Series: 5/8" to 7/8" (16 mm to 22 mm).
For standard sheet metal applications: 20 to 14 gauge.
Special order for 1/8" (3 mm), 3/16" (5 mm), or 1/4" (6 mm) for metal applications.
Installation:
Horizontal or vertical; two-step mortise installation using router or 5 1/2" (140 mm) x 1" (25 mm) slot with trim plate (for wood
applications); punched slots or series of 7/16" (11 mm) drilled holes (for metal applications)
