These welded metal boxes are great for mounting a lock to many types of metal gates. Since most gates are not solid like a regular door the locks must first be installed in the box and then the box is welded with the lock onto the gate.
Can only be used on a swinging type gate and there must be a stationary frame opposite the lock to
mount a strike plate.
Electric Strike Weldable Bracket You may also need to install an electric strike with your lock. You can use this small box to hold the electric strike. For regular ANSI face size strike - 5 1/16 inch high X 7/16 inch deep X 1 3/4 inch wide
