These new fingerprint locks are great for indoor use and may also be used outdoors with appropriate accessories or sheltering overhang but should not be directly exposed to extreme weather. You may notice other locks for sale that we don't sell. We have tried many of them and most just don't work well or hold up very well. Until they improve we just don't feel comfortable selling them.
